  In just a few days Dallas Smith at Redwood Tax solved a tax problem for me that tax attorneys had worked on for years without finding a solution. Accountants are all about how to solve the problem. Tax attorneys focus on billable hours. Whenever possible, use accountants, they do a better job.

  If you want your taxes done-great. However, be prepared for an overpriced poor costumer service experience. When I arrived the man that helped us was rude and put out. His appointment before us had cancelled and we couldn't come sooner, so by the time we arrived he was already irritated. He was impatient, condescending, and arrogant. He even made a sarcastic comment about my relationship with my husband. He was also personal messaging on his computer in front of me. He was fast and knew what he was doing. However, I found it unprofessional and not a friendly environment at all. Luckily we had forgotten a W-2, so we went home to think it over. When we called to say we were going to go elsewhere he told us "Sorry buddy, that ship has sailed." We paid him for his time and did the taxes ourselves. We will never be going back.
